Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 April 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Adelerate ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the Adelerate ad management platform (the "Service"). It applies to account holders and invited users of the Service. If you are an end user who has seen an ad delivered via the Service, please refer to the privacy notice of the publisher or advertiser whose property you visited.

1. Who is the data controller

For personal data relating to your user account and your use of the Service, Adelerate acts as the data controller. For personal data processed on your behalf in connection with your ad campaigns (for example, reporting data tied to user devices), Adelerate acts as a data processor and you, as the operator of the Company workspace, act as the controller.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account data: name, business email address, password (hashed), Company affiliation, role, and invitation tokens.
  • Usage data: pages visited within the admin panel, actions taken (e.g. creating campaigns, uploading creatives, running reports), timestamps, browser and device identifiers, and IP address.
  • Content data: creatives (images, HTML, video), campaign and targeting configurations, header bidding settings, Amazon bids uploads, dashboard preferences, and scheduled reports that you create within the Service.
  • Ad-serving and auction data: impression, click, and auction events received from ad units, publishers, and bidders, including IP addresses, user agents, approximate geolocation, referring URLs, and bid metadata.
  • Communications: support requests, invitations, reactivation links, and email correspondence.
  • Security signals: reCAPTCHA scores, authentication events, and logs used to detect abuse.

3. How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • provide, operate, and secure the Service, including authentication, invitations, and account reactivation;
  • process ad requests, run auctions, deliver creatives, and generate reports;
  • compute forecasts, predictions, and aggregated statistics;
  • detect and prevent fraud, invalid traffic, and abuse;
  • communicate with you about service issues, updates, and policy changes;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you or your Company; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service and preventing fraud; compliance with legal obligations; and, where required, your consent.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The admin panel uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you logged in, remember your dashboard preferences, and apply your selected theme. We may also use analytics and security tooling (including Google reCAPTCHA) to protect the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Service from functioning.

6. How we share data

We share personal data with:

  • Infrastructure providers: including Amazon Web Services (for hosting, storage, video transcoding via MediaConvert, and related services) and the database providers we use to run the Service.
  • Demand partners and bidders: exchanges, SSPs, and header-bidding or server-side auction participants configured by you, which receive bid requests and related signals necessary to participate in auctions.
  • Service providers: email delivery, error monitoring, security, and support tools operating under contract and only as needed to provide the Service.
  • Authorities: where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

We do not sell personal data. Some of our providers are located outside your country; when we transfer data internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period thereafter to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations. Ad-serving logs are retained for the period required to generate reports, detect invalid traffic, and meet our contractual obligations, after which they are deleted or aggregated into anonymous statistics. Creatives and campaign configurations are retained until you delete them or your Company workspace is closed.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Users can update profile information and delete their account from within the admin panel; you may also contact us to exercise your rights. If you believe we have processed your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We apply industry-standard measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, least-privilege access controls, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No system is completely secure; please use a strong password and notify us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notifying you in-app or by email.

12. Contact

For privacy questions, data-subject requests, or concerns about this Policy, please contact the administrator of your Company workspace or reach Adelerate via the contact details published on our website.
